Faiz Hameed Rejects Meeting Ex-Judge Siddiqui or Discussing Nawaz's Appeals
Former ISI Director General, Lt Gen (Retd) Faiz Hameed, has responded to allegations from ex-IHC judge Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui about manipulating the Panama Papers case. Faiz denies influencing judiciary, calling the accusations false. Siddiqui claims evidence of two meetings with Faiz in 2018.
The former chief justice of IHC, Muhammad Anwar Khan Kasi, and retired Brigadier Irfan Ramay also rejected Siddiqui’s allegations. Siddiqui sought a commission to probe his claims but was dismissed by the Supreme Judicial Council without an inquiry. He insists on presenting evidence if needed, emphasizing concerns about interference in the judicial system.
